Our Story

102 UNIQ was born as the ideas of Steven & Jess, meaning unique Vietnamese food that we want to serve at our restaurant. Steven had worked for few famous five star restaurants in Ho Chi Minh city, before he moved to Melbourne and worked as Head Chef for some well known restaurants and hotels such as Crown Melbourne , Chin Chin, Long Chim , Firebird. Jess also had great experiences in restaurant operation where she worked for some five stars hotel in Ho Chi Minh like Legend Hotel, Park Hyatt Saigon and was trained in Luxembourg. Opening our own restaurant is our dream since we had moved to Melbourne. 102 UNIQ is the place where we cook and serve what we love and learned. Vietnamese cuisine is aromatic, fresh & full of vitality. It's simple, honest food that thrives with great produce.
